Who Is Erik Runyon?

Husband, father, and web-developer. Born and raised in small-town Michigan, I’m an across-the-board fan of Michigan sports (Detroit Lions, Tigers, Redwings, Wolverines), and hold out hope that the Lions will win a Super Bowl in my lifetime. Past jobs include audio designer for a computer game company and phone-bill/wall-border designer.

What do you do at AgencyND?

I build cool things using all the usual web-development acronyms. I’m obsessive when it comes to semantic mark-up, and believe all content should be both portable and accessible by any device. Some current projects include:

 

What do you do in your down time?

Play with my three kids, put little trees in pots, read, and code (yes, I code in my downtime as well).

How did it come about that you work at Notre Dame?

I applied, and for some reason, perhaps a lapse in judgement, AgencyND decided to hire a University of Michigan grad. I’m sure there are times they regret this.
